Occasionally, I will represent either the Claimant or the Respondent, pro bono, in “Return Petitions” commenced under The Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abductions.  The Convention provides a mechanism for the repatriation of children who have been removed from their habitual residence in breach of the custodial rights of one of the children’s parents.
