Virginia Mansilla concentrates her practice in the areas of
international and comparative laws and has substantial experience in
both civil and common law systems. Her education includes a Masters
of Laws in Comparative Law from the University of Miami School of
Law, and the equivalent of a Juris Doctor from Cordoba National
University School of Law in Cordoba Argentina.
Mrs. Mansilla’s experience includes assisting companies and
individuals doing business in Argentina, Latin America and the
United States with strategies of entry into those markets. She works
on corporate matters, including but not limited, to forming a
company, immigration, contracts, and business transaction topics.
Mrs. Mansilla has also experience in import-export procedures and
requirements with the Food and Drug Administration “FDA”, Alcohol,
Tobacco and Firearms “ATF” y United Status Department of Agriculture
“USDA”. Mrs. Mansilla has also provided support to litigation
specially focused in International matters. Additionally, Mrs.
Mansilla has significant experience in telecommunications laws and
regulations in the United States and Latin America. She worked as a
telecommunications consultant for numerous telecom carriers by
counseling them in federal and state license processes and
strategies. She has focused her practice in the prepaid market,
counseling in regulatory aspects of IXC, CLEC, and FCC 214 licenses
and tariffs. She also worked in telecom compliance matters for the
Federal Communications Commission and Public Utilities/Services
Commissions at state level. In Argentina she worked for more than 4
years for the largest telecommunications company, Telecom Personal,
S.A.
While attending The University of Miami, she assisted Professor
Frank Valdez with “The LatCrit Monograph Series”, Colloquium on
International and Comparative Law, which was held in Santiago, Chile
and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Additionally, during law school, she
interned for a prestigious law firm in Córdoba, Argentina.
She is an active member of the International Section of the Florida
Bar and member of the International Business Development of the
Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. She is an attorney admitted to
practice only in Argentina, and is fluent in English and Spanish. |
