Ms. Prest is an international business professional with over 25 years of in-depth experience in international trade, finance and business development. As an international banker with Bankers Trust and NationsBank, she demonstrated practical expertise in the areas of trade services, cross-border lending, project and export finance, and risk mitigation. As a former senior business development manager with Motorola, she negotiated and implemented joint venture agreements, equity and debt recapitalizations, and divestitures throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. She has structured transactions for clients in countries as diverse as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Lithuania, and Yugoslavia.

A transactional attorney, Ms. Prest concentrates her practice in the areas of cross-border lending, project financing and international transactions. Her practice includes advising and counseling clients with respect to US, foreign and multilateral export financing programs, including those of the US Export-Import Bank, Overseas Private Insurance Corporation, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank, among others.

Ms. Prest earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University. While in law school, Ms. Prest focused on international business and trade issues, becoming familiar with Mexican business law, the law of NAFTA, Caribbean antidumping issues, and EU law. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Russian language and literature, cum laude, with departmental honors, from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Following her graduation from Indiana University, Ms. Prest joined the US Government, working in various positions in East-West trade, including a two-year posting in the US Commercial Office in Moscow, U.S.S.R.

Ms. Prest has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2004 and is admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
