Marian Kennady

Marian Kennady received her J.D. with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May of 2000. While there, she was a staff member of the Florida Journal of International Law which published her Student Note, “Gender Persecution and the Adjudication of Asylum Claims.” She was also an active member of the International Commercial Moot Arbitration Team. Additionally, Ms. Kennady was a member of the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinic located at the law school and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Alexander M. Paskay, Bankruptcy Judge for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Kennady served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Raymond B. Ray, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Lauderdale Division, from September of 2000 through September of 2002.

Prior to entering law school, Ms. Kennady attended Indiana University Graduate School where she pursued a Master of Arts degree in East European History and has studied Hungarian language and history at the University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary.

Ms. Kennady possesses experience in the areas of Real Estate litigation (including mortgage foreclosure, quiet title, ejectment and writ of possession actions); Representation of Chapter 7 Trustees; and General Commercial Litigation.

Ms. Kennady is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
