Gavin N. L. White is a litigator who focuses his practice on commercial litigation, banking litigation, products liability and insurance coverage. He has also worked extensively in defending corporations from personal injury lawsuits and protecting professionals from malpractice suits. Mr. White has appeared before most departments of the Florida Board of Health, defending medical providers in administrative actions against their licenses as well as businesses threatened with closure due to alleged regulatory violations.
Throughout his career, Mr. White has handled cases across the entire state of Florida. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida, as well as federal court in the Southern and Middles Districts of Florida. Some of the types of matters Mr. White has handled include:
Mr. White received his Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of South Florida (USF) in 1997. While attending USF, Mr. White was active in the university community, serving as the student representative to the USF Speakers Bureau and as the Concert Director of the Campus Activities Board. These experiences led to a career consulting for records labels, serving as a tour manager to a number of rock bands and producing concerts for multi-platinum recording artists, prior to law school. Mr. White attended law school at Fordham University School of Law in New York, NY, and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2001. While at Fordham, he served as a member of the International Law Journal.
Mr. White is a native of Miami, FL. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, an organization he remains committed to. When he is not practicing law, Mr. White is a lecturer at the Miami-Dade School for Juvenile Justice, helping “at-risk” teens turn their lives around, and he also volunteers his time to monitoring elections. Mr. White enjoys exploring exotic foods and is a fan of science-fiction.
