Gavin N. L. White is a member of the Florida Bar. He received his Bachelors degree in English Literature from the University of South Florida (USF) in 1997. While at USF, Mr. White was active in the university community, serving as the student representative to the speakers bureau and as the concert director of the campus activities board. These experiences led to a career consulting for records labels and producing concerts before law school. Mr. White attended law school at Fordham University School of Law, and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2001. While at Fordham, he was a member of the International Law Journal.
Mr. White is a civil litigator, focusing his practice on professional liability, insurance defense and insurance fraud. He has worked extensively in defending corporations from personal injury lawsuits and medical professionals from malpractice suits. Mr. White has appeared before many departments of the Florida Board of Health, defending medical providers in administrative actions against their licenses. When he is not practicing law, Mr. White is a lecturer at the Miami-Dade School for Juvenile Justice and volunteers his time to election monitoring.
Mr. White earned the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. He was born and raised in Miami, FL.
