Francis X. Sexton, Jr. has for over 30 years, in New York and Florida, concentrated his practice in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on representation of lending institutions and privately owned businesses. Mr. Sexton has litigated thousands of cases in numerous federal courts throughout the United States and in the state courts of Florida and New York. He has substantial experience in litigating securities matters, real estate issues, business disputes, debtor/creditor matters and products liability cases.
He has been an arbitrator of commercial and real estate matters for the American Arbitration Association since 1995. He is a state-approved Circuit and County Court mediator.
Mr. Sexton is a member of the Coral Gables Rotary Club, has served as that organization’s President (2005-2006), and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He is a member of the Miami Council for International Visitors and has served as President of that organization. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 1974.
Mr. Sexton received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law Center.
